Avoid Mobifone if you’re heading off the beaten track, and there’s really no reason to go with Vietnamobile. It’s the cheapest of the lot, but has very poor data service outside the largest cities.

I went with Vinaphone due to price and convenience, but was travelling with someone else who picked up a Viettel card for comparison.

Viettel removed roaming charges in Laos and Cambodia in early 2017. It’s still cheaper to buy local SIMs in each place, but it’s now much more affordable for those wanting to use the same SIM in all three countries.

Tóm lại Vinaphone is the best?

There are three main SIM card providers in Vietnam, which are Viettel, Vinaphone and Mobifone. There’s also a fourth provider called Vietnamobile, but I personally wouldn’t recommend them at this point in time as their coverage isn’t quite up to scratch outside of major cities.

Here’s a quick summary:

The short version summary is that Viettel and Vinaphone are about the same in terms of coverage and speeds, but Viettel takes the edge in terms of rural areas. These two providers are what I’d suggest you stick with.

Mobifone has patchy coverage in rural areas, and Vietnamobile’s mobile internet is unusable if you leave major city centres.

Viettel is the market leader in Vietnam, owned and operated by the Ministry of Defence. This also the network of choice for the Vietnamese Army, which is a great endorsement for anyone thinking of getting a SIM card in Vietnam. If you plan to travel around the country, this should be your first choice.

Gọi cho service provider của mình nói nó mình cần nó add thêm cái nơi mình sắp đi trong thời gian đó thì sài được thôi.   Giá cũng không có mắc.   Không cần thay sim hoặc số điện thoại.

Nếu anh xài Iphone thì no problem . T mua ở phi trường cho tiện . Ra ngoài mua rẻ hơn vài chục ngàn nhưng phải nhờ người khác chở đi . T đi một mình nên T mua tại phi trường và roaming , T không cần nhiều phút vì có thể gọi facetime miễn phí qua roaming . T mua sim 4G - 120 phút tải 33GB for 1 tháng giá $300K

too much spam, đa số các nước giờ vậy, Thái Lan, Nhật là for sure, Nhật còn khó hơn data only thì OK chớ có số thì rất khó
